‘For the Love of Soukle’ at STATS

Light rain, heavy clouds and traffic jams didn’t stop Soukle from hosting our February networking event.  This was the first soukle that experienced gloomy weather. However, gloomy weather aside the event was a great time and successful.  Over 45 souklers attended proving their love for social circle building and networking.   More than 30% of attendees were first time souklers.

The February Valentine themed event held at STATS, For the Love of Soukle, included professionals in the fields of education, insurance marketing, engineering, book authors, stock brokers, healthcare providers, accountants, physical therapist, small business owners, computer technicians, and nonprofit organizers.  Souklers were greeted with name tags and instructions to participate in a networking game.  Networking games are a great way to “break the ice” amongst attendees and have fun.  The game winner won two raffle tickets towards the grand prize of a $35.00 gift card to MyRibbonGift.com sponsored by Calvin Danell Associates.

STATS was a vivacious scene that included 70 high definition television screens displaying sports, directly underneath the screens were scrolling stock tickers.  It was like walking into a sports arena for a playoff game inside the E*Trade building.  The sports bar has several tables that feature their own beer tap systems, allowing guests to pour their own drinks without needing a bartender or waiter present.  The large establishment is setup to host several different parties at once.  They offer a wide variety of different room options for hosting events, the layout is extremely impressive.  Validated parking across the street is also available for up to 3 hours.

Most sport themed bars lower your expectations for quality food selections however; this is not true for STATS. The food was amazing.  I saw orders of soup, shrimp, hummus, nachos, wings, lettuce wraps, salads, huge burgers, fish tacos and ice cream.  Everyone was very pleased with the selection and preparation of their dishes.  I ordered the BBQ Salmon Salad which was a dream come true.  It is refreshing to be able to order healthier options that are fresh and perfectly prepared in establishments that specialize in catering to sporting fans.  So, if you are looking for a happy hour location after work – Soukle recommends STATS.  Dishes range from $7 – $25 and drinks range from $6 – $12.

Don’t miss our next soukle – A Shamrock Soukle.  On March 15th join soukle as we engage in social hour for a St. Patrick’s inspired event.  RSVP now and don’t forget to wear your favorite shade of green.

  1. It is refreshing when you can go to a networking event and actually meet people you can do business with. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait for the next one.

    • I am so excited that I had the chance to meet you. You are truly a comic with a great spirit. I can’t wait to see you under the spotlight. Thanks for joining us.

  2. This was my first event with Soukle. I enjoyed the experienced, and was able to meet some awesome people as well. I’m new to the area, so I’ve been trying to get out and broaden my social circle as well as make connections. I must admit, I was a little hesitant at first to go to an event by myself, but I am glad I did; it pushes me outside of my comfort zone. I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked into STATS, and was greet by Jamillah.

    • I’m so glad that you came out! I know it’s hard to jump into the social scene in a big city. Soukle is here to make sure that you have positive experiences while meeting great people as we explore the city together. I hope to see you on March 15th wearing your lucky green!

    • It must be the blue blazer. Lol!
