Soukle Launches at Fins

Souklers gathered to do that thing they love the most, networking, and for some it was a chance to tackle their New Year’s resolutions of “being more social”.  Our first soukle of the year was held on Friday, January 18th at Fins Sports and Seafood Grill.  The sold out event, was a great opening to the new brand, website and motto of the organization.  Almost 70 working professionals from different industries gathered to have casual conversations, explore Fins and indulge in seafood inspired dishes.

Being true to our nature – the lounge area was filled with raving conversations, introductions, handshakes, smiles and laughter.  Believe it or not there wasn’t a bored face in the room.  I saw several exchanges of business cards and even received invitations to other social events around Atlanta.  It was a great mixture of nonprofit workers, health care employees, entrepreneurs, finance accountants, business executives, education administrators, technology smarties, business-to-business traders and several other industries.

Fins was a gracious host, as we patronized their “heavenly” downstairs lounge area.  Their modern stone walls, trendy white leather décor and shiny bar with blue light accents made the space attractive and warming.  There was plenty of seating and room for maneuvering through the crowd.  A wide variety of dishes were ordered; the crab burger, french fries, or different flavored wings seemed to be the biggest hit with attendees.  The only constant quorum was the lack of a drink menu.  Sure we know what we want to drink, but we like ordering specialized drinks and want to at least know drink pricing.

Overall, it was a great way to get started for Soukle.  It was a memorable experience for those who happened to be visiting Fins for the first time and was an awesome opportunity to work on social circles at the start o the year.

Don’t miss our next soukle – For the Love of Soukle, our month of February, a Valentine inspired event.  RSVP now!
